Looks like the other three routes are Tyson, Temoc, and Jaxton.

(1 edit)

I would assume that public gets the first three routes of chapter 7 when Patreon gets the other half.

Half of chapter 7 (the beginning of Tafu, Vince, and Fernando routes) are all on the Patreon version. The public version stops at the end of chapter 6.

Yeah, the icon is different. Also, actual important choices are in a different color. A lot of the "thought" choices seem to just be for flavor, at least so far.

Have to admit, I like all three husbandos so far. Will be keeping an eye on this!

So, let me start by saying that I see potential in this project. I am going to try to offer some constructive criticism, especially because I know this is still early and it's definitely not easy to make a VN. So, I hope this is taken in good faith, as I really want to see this thing succeed.

First off, I noticed someone below commenting on a grammar pass. I agree with this, and particularly want to highlight the fact that the vast majority of sentences don't have any periods to end them.

More than that, though, I think that a lot of the text feels unnatural. There isn't a better way for me to explain this, other than to say that it feels like a lot of the dialogue was written by someone who does not use English as their primary language. I don't know if that's true or not, but having someone recite the lines aloud and seeing when the dialogue sounds awkward would probably help a lot.

Something else that might help with this: don't be afraid to combine multiple sentences into a single text box. There are a lot of instances where multiple lines are delivered by the same person (whether it be a character or the narrator) but they're divided up into multiple boxes. Sometimes this is good artistically when a character has a significant pause or something, but in casual conversation it just makes their conversation come off as choppy.

Last point I'll make on this is the introduction of the pandemic. I get it's obviously inspired by the recent Covid 19 pandemic, but in the novel it's not explained and appears to come out of nowhere. It might help to, for example, have a conversation with Terry on the first day, where he comments on the news of the new disease reaching their country. Then you can follow that up with everything closing down a couple days later.

I hope this isn't taken as entirely negative. Like I said, I see potential in this and just am offering some advice. On more positive notes, I do like several of the characters (Terry in particular is great) and the more fantastical elements definitely caught my attention. I am interested in seeing how this develops, and I hope this one improves and takes off.

This game is really adorable. Please keep this up, it's just such a feel-good VN and I want to see where this goes.

I'm on Team Hot Barista. He's such a lovable troll.

Hoping for more of this, myself.

Basically, Bottom Logan choice happens pretty early, if you encourage him to confront the bandits. Discouraging him gives you normal/Top Logan. You'll probably know if you have Bottom Logan, as he'll have a number of scenes you can stumble across of him power-bottoming other characters.

As far as the hearts go, the main one that's missable is during the werewolf event. When you have to make a choice to go after either Bernard or Logan, you have to choose Logan. Logan's the better choice there if you're trying to get hearts on everyone, as Bernard's hearts don't depend on this choice.

Gabriel is precious and I absolutely must protect him.

Finally got around to reading this, and glad I did. A few rough patches in the writing, but an entertaining premise to work though. The demons all seem to have interesting stories to tell, and I'm eager to see them in the future.

Was determined to win Red's heart...until I met Ruaden. He became my favorite really quickly.

Criminally underrated, hope to see this VN get more attention later. It gets very tense at points, and makes me really want to know what's coming in the future.

Shepard's probably my favorite character so far. If there are character routes planned later, hoping we get to hang around him more.

I just found this game yesterday, and I have to say that I'm already in love with it. It's rare for me to find a game where I genuinely enjoy the entire cast, but this is the case here. All of the characters are believable and multi-faceted. And adorable. (Though I have soft spots for Dean, Orlando, and Tyson especially.)

The gameplay gimmick was very well conceived. I love how it really makes you invested in wanting to keep these characters alive. After seeing a bad end for the first time (in my case, Dean's) I found myself jumping right back in, filled with determination to save him.

There's something really special here. Please, keep up the good work!

So I've only recently started getting into Morenatsu in general, but I recently played through a few routes in Revival, Revisited, and then what exists here in Homecoming. Juuichi is by far my favorite character in all three (I played his route in all three to spot the differences,) and I really like what Revisited did and what Homecoming is doing to subtly expand his character.

One subtle addiction I really liked was the new choice in Juuichi's August 2nd scene, because I feel you get a more complete idea of his character by seeing both sides of this. The "wrong" question of asking if he's proud of his judo talent actually led to an interpretation of the character I hadn't considered before; that he might feel a bit of shame regarding what he's good at, but throws himself into it anyways because he's addicted to the feelings of victory and praise he gets for it. In either case, I feel that previous versions of Morenatsu didn't really explore Juuichi's flaws well enough. He did have shades of low self-esteem, but the reasons for it weren't really explored outside of what happened between him and Kyouji. There were also a moment in Revisited during the hot springs scene where he makes a comment about duty that doesn't ever seem to be referenced again.

I also really like Homecoming's new format. Being able to do more than one thing per day is nice so you get to see more of the characters, not just your chosen husbando. It's given me a new appreciation for Tora, who I've always kind of avoided until now. I really like the set up that's being done for him. I'm excited to see a proper route for him one day. Keep up the good work!

I'm liking the idea of this so far, so definitely keep it up. Looks like the first chapter could go for a typo and grammar pass, though. Some of the sentences are a little awkwardly constructed.

Love Amok, hope he continues to be a major character in future chapters!

Nasir is the next to get his path written, but it isn't here quite yet.

I've been following this game for a while now. I'll also say that I wasn't expecting too much from Zed's route, but my word, he's become my favorite character now. He's the sweetest guy that will pummel anyone who looks at you wrong into a pulp, and it's adorable.

Keep it up! I'm definitely looking forward to Nasir and the Doc's routes.
